Awesome torch

I've now had the M7R for 8 months and I'm still impressed with the light every time I switch it on. Before this torch I owned a 3D & 5D torch of a very well known brand, I have given both these battery eaters to my father.Not even the 5D with new batteries or the 3D with LED lens can even remotely compare to the M7R.
I do however would like 2 changes:
1. I like the tactical function but would want the blinding strobe to be the first setting that comes on when the torch is set to the tactical mode.My reason for this when using it as part of your self defense, which it was designed for, you would not want to walk with the light on and switch to the blinding strobe only when you spot an intruder but rather surprise him with the strobe adding valuable seconds that can be the difference between life and death. Thus I would prefer to have the light of till it's needed as not to loose the surprise element and then switch on the strobe.
2.I would like a small rim (thumb ring)on the bell of the light to facilitate the one hand operation of the focusing system by sliding the bell backwards and forward with your thumb.It is now only possible to slide the bell forward with one hand.
3.I would also like this "thumb ring" to be of HEX shape to prevent the torch from rolling of a flat surface ie. a table.I never put my torch down upright to prevent scratches to the lens.
4.The torch only claims to be water resistant although I have quickly submerged it in my Koi pond with no problems. I would like it to be fully water proof.
In my mind this is the best torch for it's size.My next Led Lenser's would be the H7R and the X21.

I bought this torch in Dec 2010 which is also the last time I charged it. I use it almost every weekend for neighborhood patrols, braais etc. The battery just lasts.
My dad rarely gets impressed with technology (toys) and when I showed him the torch one night he could not believe the amount of light that comes out of this little device. Compared to his standard old 1mil candle power torch which is ten times the size and weight of this torch, he was amazed.
All I can say is, well done guys. EXCELLENT piece of equipment.I'm currently looking at purchasing two H7R as well.

My cousin told me that he had bought a M7 and that he was quite impressed with it. I decided that I also need a Led Lenser in my collection. Since I have a number of torches which uses the 18650 size battery, I decided on the M7R.
I have just received my M7R a day after ordering it and what an impressive piece of engineering. It is anytime as powerfull as an more expensive high-end torch with 320 lumen.
I can only recommend it! This is for now my new favourite torch!

This is without a doubt the best lighting device I have ever owned. I intend using this for neighbourhood watch purposes, and the size and power of this device makes it perfect for quick movement and the sharpness of the light is amazing. The fact that it is rechargeable, is a big plus. Sturdy and rugged.
